What began with inkblots on paper and a search for peace has grown into a creative endeavor of lettering for people.
For me, calligraphy isn't just about beautiful letters; it's about finding calmness in every stroke and focusing on the present moment. I cherish the concept of conscious living, where each stroke of the pen is intentional. I find beauty in simple things—a single flower, a handwritten note, a quiet moment, a chirping bird, and a cup of tea. These details remind me of the elegance in simplicity, which I strive to capture in my work.
My calligraphy journey began in childhood, mimicking fancy letters from newspapers and magazines. This hobby turned formal when I took my first calligraphy class at a summer camp.
In 2018, Calligraphy found me once again as I stumbled upon a Brush Lettering workshop in my city and then there was no coming back. In March 2019, I conducted my first workshop, which was nerve-wracking but exhilarating. Teaching has always been close to my heart, even before I ventured into calligraphy. The enthusiasm and creativity of my students continuously inspire me, enriching my own artistic journey.

I am Mahak M Vasudeva, Calligrapher and Engraving artist behind Let's Talk Letters. While my professional background is in finance, my true passion has always been calligraphy. Five years ago, I transitioned fully to this art and have been building my career since then.
I specialise in traditional scripts like Copperplate, which has been influential in developing my unique style of writing.
